Status: Vulnerable.Range: Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.Habitat: Dry, rocky areas and open scrub.Food: Large variety of vegetation including leaves, flowers and fruits. Younger iguanas will also eat insects.Reproduction: Breeding season is in April. During this time, females dig nest cavities in the sand, laying as many as 16 eggs.Facts: The Rhinoceros Iguana gets its name from the horn-like outgrowths on the end of its nose.
