Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo

Status: Threatened.Range: Northeastern and southern Australia, Tasmania, King Island, New Guinea, and Aru Island.Habitat: Open forested land, usually close to water; occasionally found in swampy areas and in tropical rain forests.Food: A variety of fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts.Reproduction: Nests are built in trees holes. The Clutch consists of 2-3 eggs that are incubated for approximately 30 days.Facts: Average life span is between 50-75 years.
