An Animal Tale
A story, animal encounter, and a hands-on activity will help students to learn about different animal patterns. This program is meets the following Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and is STEAM compliant:
SC.K.L.14.2: Recognize that some books and other media portray animals and plants with characteristics they do not have in real life.
MAFS.K.G.1.2: Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
VA.K.C.1.1: Create and share personal works of art with others.

Animal Senses
Students will meet animals to learn about their senses. This program meets the following Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and is STEAM compliant:
SC.K.L.14.1: Recognize the five senses and related body parts.
MAFS.K.CC.2.4: Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
VA.K.S.1.2: Produce artwork influenced by personal decisions and ideas.

Dinosaurs
By meeting some dinosaur relatives, students will learn about these fascinating creatures, including what happened after they went extinct.
This program is meets the following Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and is STEAM compliant:
SC.K.N.1.5: Recognize that learning can come from careful observation.
MAF.S.K.CC.2.5: Count to answer “how many” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-10, count out that many objects.
VA.K.C.1.1: Create and share personal works of art with others.

Fur, Feathers, & Scales
Students will meet a mammal, a bird, and a reptile to learn how they are alike and how they are different. This program meets the following Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and is STEAM compliant:
SC.K.L.14.3: Observe plants and animals, describe how they are alike and how they are different in the way they look and in the things they do.
MAFS.K.CC.2.4: Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
VA.K.H.3.1: Express ideas related to non-art content areas through personal artworks.
